DROPS Soft Tweed is, like its name implies, a super soft tweed yarn, made from a combination of merino wool, superfine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is constructed by carding these fibers together with small felted “tweed buttons” that add speckles of colour to define the look of this quality.

Rustic and elegant, this yarn is easy to knit and results in beautiful, even stitches. A great choice for textured patterns, slipovers, sweaters and jackets - DROPS Soft Tweed is a great fit for patterns designed in DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima and DROPS Merino Extra Fine (Yarn Group B).

Being a carded yarn means that DROPS Soft Tweed is lighter and breathes better than similar, combed yarns - while being specially suited for hand knitting.

DROPS Soft Tweed ist, wie der Name vermuten lässt, ein superweiches Tweedgarn aus eine Kombination von Merinowolle, Alpaka superfine und Viskose. Das Garn erhält seine Struktur dadurch, dass diese drei Fasern zusammen mit kleinen gefilzten "Tweedpünktchen" kardiert werden. Dadurch ergeben sich Farbtupfer, die den speziellen Charakter dieser Garnqualität ausmachen.

Dieses Garn ist sowohl rustikal als auch elegant und lässt sich leicht verarbeiten. Es ergibt sich ein wunderschönes Strickbild mit gleichmäßigen Maschen. Strukturmuster kommen mit diesem Garn besonders gut zur Geltung und es eignet sich wunderbar für Pullunder, Jacken und Pullover - DROPS Soft Tweed ist eine tolle Alternative für Anleitungen, die für DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima und DROPS Merino Extra Fine entworfen wurden (Garngruppe B).

Als kardiertes Garn ist DROPS Soft Tweed leichter und atmungsaktiver als vergleichbare Kammgarne - dadurch ist es besonders als Handstrickgarn geeignet.
